Plaster-based installation: raw casting studio

Inspired by the categorisation systems we use on a daily basis. Focusing on the Hierarchy of Taxonomy, a categorisation system created by Carl Linnaeus. Mixing the concept of categorisation with the mass production of casted plaster books to create an interesting visual, combining fine casting plaster and coarse wall plaster.  

However, when you look within the box, you see this true to itself raw casting studio, allowing you to read the piece as I believe the box will speak to people on different levels, more likely depending on where you sit the Hierarchy of Taxonomy.
