​Jack Shawe is a historically based practitioner. He incorporates digital mediums to bring a revitalised approach to his fascination with history. Using Photoshop and a graphics tablet, he explores the often forgotten cultures, myths, legends and folk tales. Furthermore, within these artworks, Jack weaves and critiques today's current political aspects such as feminism, anti-war and environmental activism. By critiquing these topics, Jack provides a new aspect for people to look upon and reflect.
