Isaac Entwistle is an artist working predominantly in the visual arts, whose work explores and depicts emotion, rather than representing external reality. Exploring the mindset of the artist and participants to create powerful symbolic artworks. During this time his work has been investigating how to communicate the issues of mental health through the expressionist movement.
Isaac uses his work to express internal thoughts and feelings and aims to evoke curiosity for those who view it and allow them to depict their own meaning. He is possessed by how the use of stitch can cast such intense meaning, and how far boundaries can be pushed to symbolise mental health within this medium. His final piece integrates stitchwork and photos off self-inflicted scars. Isaac Entwistle was born in the South of England, United Kingdom, and has been exhibiting work professionally whilst completing his BA (Hons) in Fine Art at the university of Lincoln.
